A Dance Class structured to prepare young dancers for the dance level, choreography, & audition process required for dance teams, college clubs, etc.
Freestyle Dance Academy Dance Schedule Announcement: Freestyle Dance Academy will be offering a “Dance Team Prep” dance class, beginning in January 2016. Instructed by Freestyle Dance Academy Hip-Hop teacher Ms. Ali, the dance class is intended for local high school juniors & seniors who wish to dance at the college level.
Dance Team Prep dance classes will take place on Mondays & Thursdays at 430pm at Freestyle Dance Academy. Classes will begin on Jan. 11th, 2016. Dance Team Prep dancers will be expected to participate in the 2016 Freestyle Dance Academy Dancer Showcase in May.
Whether for a sanctioned university dance team or cheer squad, an affiliated dance club, or a dance crew, the Dance Team Prep class will help dancers be ready for all the challenges a dancer will face at the next level. Not only will the class focus on industry & dance team styles of hip-hop & jazz choreography, but it will also prepare dancers for the physical & mental challenges of the audition process & demands of a dance team.
No specific level of dance training is required, but please keep in mind that this will be a high level dance class in order to complete the goal of preparing all dancers for their collegiate experience.
Ms. Ali, the primary instructor for the Dance Team Prep dance class, has numerous years of competition & coaching experience, most recently as the Head Coach of Council Rock North’s dance team. Many of her students have gone on to dance at the college level.

Freestyle Dance Academy is located at 341 Lower State Rd, Chalfont, PA 18914. The dance studio resides on the grounds of Camp America Day Camp, and the parking lot can be accessed from Bradley Road.
