The Sr. & Jr. Freestyle Dance Academy Performing Companies hit the concourse at the Wells Fargo Center, in Philadelphia, to perform before the Villanova & Butler basketball game. Freestyle Dance Academy, located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, has two performing companies, meant for those dancers who wish to commit more time and training to enhance their dance abilities. Before the game got underway, the Jr. FDA Company, consisting of dancers ages 8 – 12, performed to a mix of “Bring ‘Em Out” by T.I., and “Kiss Kiss” by Chris Brown. For many of these young performers, this was their first major public dance performance. The Jr. Company is composed of some of the youngest dancers at Freestyle Dance Academy, who have aspirations of dancing long into their adult careers.

After the FDA Jr. Company finished performing, the Sr. Company from Freestyle Dance Academy took the stage. This group of dancers will also be featured in the annual Philadelphia Youth Dance Fest, which displays some of the best dance companies from all over the Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and DC areas. Dancing to a medley of Shawn Mendes, Diplo, Santana and more, the FDA Sr. Company showed off for the crowd of Villanova fans & almuni, as they got ready to cheer on their Wildcats. The Freestyle Dance Academy Sr. Company is made up of dancers ages 13+, who really want to kick their commitment & dance technique to another level. The FDA Company appears around the Philadelphia & Bucks County regions, and provides young performers with a place to grow in both performance quality and dance knowledge.
After performing, the dancers hit the stands with their families, to enjoy a day of fun & team building, cheering on the national champion Villanova basketball team. Freestyle Dance Academy is routinely voted among the Best of Bucks County for Dance in 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018. Dance classes are offered in various dance styles including: hip-hop, jazz, breaking (“breakdancing”), musical theatre, lyrical/contemporary, tap, and more. FDA provides high-quality dance education, with professional dance staff, to the Warrington, Chalfont & Doylestown communities. Freestyle Dance Academy is a place for both the recreational, and serious pre-professional dancer, offering different class tracks & opportunities to students, based upon their personal interest in dance.
