The Freestyle Dance Company, along with other Freestyle Dance Academy dancers & staff, hit the 2016 Peddler’s Village Christmas Festival to show their holiday spirit & put on an entertaining dance performance, after the annual parade in Bucks County, PA. Held every winter season, Peddler’s Village (located in Lahaska, Bucks County, PA) hosts a holiday festival, complete with a parade featuring Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus. Freestyle Dance Academy was invited to walk in the parade, right behind the guests of honor, and then perform after the completion of the festivities in Peddler’s Village.

The dancers of FDA showed up with their holiday spirit, rocking hats made famous by Mr. Kringle, Christmas socks, Elf hats, lights, skirts, candy canes and more. One of our dancers even showed up dressed like Santa himself! The dance studio brought up the end of the parade, right after the North Pole guests, and put the crowd in a seasonal mood with Christmas hits for all ages. We never forget to have fun at Freestyle Dance Academy, so when the dancers hit the main area of the parade route, “Jingle Bells” was quickly switched to “JuJu on The Beat,” and the dancers had the whole village bouncing along.

After walking in the Holiday Parade, the Freestyle Dance Academy Performing Company hit the lawn by Giggleberry Fair, to perform for the crowd, who were enjoying hot chocolate & cookies, while meeting Santa & Mrs. Claus. The FDA Company treated everyone to the Company’s Inspiring Teens Magazine Fashion Show performance, but with a new Christmas twist. To give everyone a quick break from the holiday music, the FDA Company enticed the crowd with a hip-hop & jazz performance to Missy Elliot, Macklemore & Bruno Mars. With the festival goers tapping their feet & bobbing their heads, the dancers showed off a mix of choreographer, freestyle, breaking (“breakdance”) and more, completing the show with candy canes for the kids!
